Terms of Service

01Age and eligibility

You may use hRumble if you are old enough to use Discord — 13, or the higher minimum age that applies where you live. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission before making any purchase, and they agree to these Terms on your behalf. hRumble is designed to be suitable for everyone who can use Discord.

02Your Discord account

You play hRumble through your own Discord account and are responsible for what happens under it. You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using hRumble. Access to hRumble depends on your access to Discord, which we do not control. If anything in these Terms conflicts with Discord's terms, Discord's terms take priority for your use of Discord.

03The Service

hRumble is a multiplayer, last-one-standing elimination game. Players join a lobby, and rounds of interactive mini-games decide who loses lives, who is revived, and who is the last fighter standing. Games may include computer-controlled fighters. Winning earns experience and rank, which follow you across every server that runs hRumble.

Mini-games — including those with names such as “Russian Roulette”, “Life Thief” or “50/50” — only ever decide lives and revives inside the match you are playing. Nothing is won outside the game.

Gameplay, features, mini-games, ranks, currency, pricing and availability may change, pause or be withdrawn at any time. The Service is provided on an “as available” basis; we do not promise it will always be online or error-free.

04$RumBux and in-game items

$RumBux is hRumble's in-game currency. It has no monetary value. It is not money, not electronic money, not stored value and not a payment instrument. You can earn $RumBux by playing, receive small amounts from reward partners (such as voting for hRumble on bot listing sites), receive it as a gift from another player, or buy it.

$RumBux, lives, profile pictures, animations, cosmetics and any other in-game items:

• have no real-world value and can never be exchanged, redeemed or “cashed out” for money or for anything of value outside the game;
• can only be used inside hRumble, and only in the ways the game allows;
• are licensed to you, not sold — we grant you a personal, non-transferable (except where the game itself allows, such as gifting), revocable licence to use them within the Service;
• may be changed, limited or withdrawn where we have a good reason (for example to fix errors, balance the game, or enforce these Terms), and lose any value when the Service ends. $RumBux you have bought is only removed for breach of these Terms, a reversed payment, or to correct an error; if we ever withdraw a purchased item outright we will replace it or refund it in line with the terms of the store you bought it from.

We will never offer a way to convert $RumBux or in-game items back into money or into anything of value outside the game. Spending $RumBux permanently removes it from the game.

05Buying $RumBux

You can buy $RumBux packs through the in-game menu using a payment provider such as PayPal, and — where available — through Discord's own store.

Purchases through a payment provider. The provider handles your payment details under its own terms and privacy policy; we never see or store your full card details. The price is shown before you confirm.

Purchases through Discord. Where hRumble packs are offered in Discord's store, you buy them through Discord: Discord takes the payment, collects any applicable tax, and applies its Paid Services Terms and Refund Policy to the purchase. We are responsible for the pack itself: we credit it to your hRumble account once Discord confirms the purchase. If a pack you bought through Discord has not arrived, contact us first (section 21) — we can resolve most problems directly.

Whichever route you use, the $RumBux is credited to the Discord account that made the purchase, and a $RumBux pack is exactly what it says: an amount of in-game currency, with no real-world value, consumed as you use it.

Supporters Club. When your total $RumBux purchases reach the level shown in the game, you join the Supporters Club automatically. Packs you buy through the in-game menu and through Discord's store both count. We welcome new members with a mention in the general chat of the hRumble community server.

06Refunds, cancellation and chargebacks

$RumBux is digital content. It is credited to your account immediately, because that is what you ask for when you buy it. Purchases through the in-game menu are non-refundable once any of the $RumBux has been spent — on lives, items, prize-pot entries, gifts or anything else. If you have not spent any of a purchase made this way, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it.

When you buy through the in-game menu, you confirm that you want the $RumBux supplied straight away and that you lose the right to cancel once you spend any of it. Whichever route you use, if a pack does not arrive or the wrong amount is credited, tell us and we will put it right.

Packs bought through Discord's store are sold under Discord's Paid Services Terms and Refund Policy. They are digital content credited to your account as soon as Discord confirms the purchase, and Discord's Refund Policy treats one-time purchases like these as non-refundable, so we cannot refund them ourselves. Packs bought in Discord's app on an iPhone or iPad are sold through Apple, and any refund request for them is decided by Apple, not by us.

07No real-world prizes or stakes

hRumble games award $RumBux only. This rule protects the game and everyone who plays it.

• No one — server owners, administrators, moderators, players, sponsors or anyone else — may attach a prize of real-world value to a game or its outcome. That means no money, gift cards, goods, subscriptions, Nitro, or anything of value outside the game.
• No real-money stakes, entry fees, side arrangements or wagers may be attached to any game. Entry fees and prize pots exist only in $RumBux.
• Before anyone runs games on a server, they must accept a notice confirming this rule. Their acceptance is recorded against that server and their account. Everyone who starts a game is bound by it, and so are the servers that host it.
• If a game's title suggests a real-world prize, the game may pause and ask you to confirm that no real-world prize is involved before it continues.

If we believe this rule has been broken we may freeze the accounts involved while we review, void or cancel the affected games, suspend or permanently close the accounts involved, and remove hRumble from the server. If you see a game offering a real-world prize, please report it to us (section 21).

08No real-money trading; no account or item sales

You must not buy, sell, trade, auction, lend or exchange $RumBux, in-game items, item purchase rights or codes, or hRumble accounts — with another player or with anyone else — for money or for anything of real-world value, inside or outside the Service, directly or through a third party. You must not advertise, arrange or help with any such trade, and you must not gift $RumBux in return for anything of value.

$RumBux enters the game through our payment routes and is designed to stay inside the game. To keep it that way, the Service applies gifting limits, records every transfer, and runs the other controls described in sections 09 and 13. Attempting to get around any of them is a breach of these Terms.

If we believe real-money trading has taken place or been attempted, we may remove the $RumBux and items involved wherever they went, and freeze, suspend or close every account involved.

09Gifting $RumBux

Gifting exists so friends can give each other $RumBux. It is for genuine gifts only.

• Eligibility. Gifting unlocks once your account has reached the rank and the account age shown in the game. This is the same for everyone; no membership, subscription or purchase unlocks it earlier.
• Limits. There are limits on how much you can gift in a single code, how much you can gift over a rolling period, how often you can create codes, how much you can gift to any one player, and how much any player can receive. Limits grow with rank and are always shown on the gifting screen. If a gift is refused, the message tells you which limit applied.
• Collecting a gift. Each player can claim a code once. Where a code is larger than the amount you can currently receive, you collect part of it and the rest returns to the sender automatically — the claim message tells you exactly what happened. Codes posted in a channel are claimed through a short random draw rather than a race.
• Cancelling. You can cancel your own code to recover any unclaimed uses.
• Records. Every gift and claim is recorded and may be reviewed (section 13).

Gifting must never be used to move $RumBux for anything of value outside the game (section 08), and each person may use only one account (section 12).

10Prize pots and server pots

Some games have a prize pot. A prize pot is always paid in $RumBux and has no real-world value. A pot can be funded by $RumBux entry fees, by voluntary donations from players, and by the server's own pot. The server administrator chooses whether the pot goes to the last fighter standing or is split among the top finishers.

• Donations to a game's pot are final unless the game itself is cancelled. Other players may have joined on the strength of the pot you added.
• $RumBux spent on lives is returned if you leave a game before it starts. Once a game has started you cannot leave for a refund.
• Server pots are one-way. $RumBux placed in a server's pot can only be paid out to game winners. Server administrators cannot withdraw it to their own account. In exceptional cases we may release a server pot through our support route, at our discretion.
• We may cancel, void or re-run a game affected by error, abuse or technical fault.

11Profile pictures, animations and cosmetics

Profile pictures, animations and other cosmetics are in-game items under section 04. Some are generated using automated tools; an animation that has been generated cannot be regenerated or refunded. Cosmetics never affect who wins a game.

Text you submit. Some cosmetics are made from text you type, such as a name for a bot fighter or a quote shown on your join, victory, elimination or revive posts. Anything you submit must follow the rules shown in the bot when you set it: no strong profanity, sexual content, gore, threats, drugs, links, adverts or anything aimed at a real person, and nothing racist, hateful or discriminatory. Submissions are checked automatically and may be reviewed by a person. You give us the right to display what you submit inside hRumble, on any server where it appears. We may remove a submission that breaks these rules without refunding what you paid for it, and repeat breaches may lose you access to the feature. Server admins may switch player quotes off for their server.

12Fair play and conduct

To keep hRumble fair and fun, you agree not to:

• cheat, exploit bugs, or use scripts, automation or bots to play or to gain an advantage;
• use more than one account, or help someone else do so (see “One account per person” below);
• collude with other players to manipulate games, transfers, claims or prize pots;
• abuse the purchase, refund or chargeback process;
• impersonate hRumble, Rumbux Labs or our team;
• harass other players, or use the Service for anything unlawful;
• interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

One account per person. Each person may use one hRumble account. Friends, families and teams are welcome to play together and to team up in games.

Shared devices. If more than one person plays hRumble on the same device, each must use their own account, and you must tell us in a support ticket before playing. Accounts that share a device without telling us are treated as one person using more than one account, and may be frozen straight away while we review (section 13).

Declared shared devices. Accounts on a shared device you have told us about may play in the same games and team up as normal. They must not pass $RumBux to each other in any way — by gift, by buying lives for each other, or by funding a prize pot the other plays in — and must not both claim the same giveaway or bot pool.

Linked accounts. We may treat accounts as belonging to the same person if they appear to be linked — for example through a shared device, play that follows the same patterns, or $RumBux moving between them. Whether linked accounts belong to one person or to several, using them together to gain an advantage or to get around a control is a breach of these Terms (sections 08 and 12), and every account involved may be frozen, suspended or closed.

Automated play. Using scripts, automation or bots to play is cheating. Accounts found doing so will be frozen straight away while we review, and may be closed.

You must also follow Discord's rules wherever they apply.

13Monitoring and enforcement

To keep $RumBux inside the game and games fair:

• every transfer, gift, claim, purchase and prize-pot payment is recorded;
• transfers are analysed for unusual patterns — for example large or frequent gifts, repeated gifts between the same accounts or through chains of accounts, accounts that pass on most of what they receive, and very small games with large pots;
• flagged activity is reviewed by a person, and we carry out regular reviews of accounts that reach the limits;
• we act on reports from players and on information we become aware of outside the game.

If we suspect a breach of these Terms we may freeze an account while we review it. A frozen account cannot play, or spend, gift or buy $RumBux in the game. A pack bought in Discord's store while the account is frozen is still added to it, but stays frozen with the rest of the balance until the review ends. Nothing on a frozen account is removed until a decision is made. Depending on what we find, we may then restrict, suspend or close the account, remove $RumBux and items obtained in breach, void affected games, and remove hRumble from a server.

What action we take is our decision, based on the circumstances — including how serious the breach was, whether it was a genuine mistake, and any earlier breaches. A first, minor breach may lead to a warning; a serious or repeated breach may lead to an account being closed permanently.

If your account is closed for breach, or if the Service ends, any $RumBux and items are lost. Because they have no monetary value, no compensation is due for them, except where the law requires otherwise (for example a purchase you were entitled to cancel and had not used).

14Changes to, and ending, the Service

hRumble is an evolving game. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including items, memberships or benefits where offered, and we may stop providing hRumble altogether. If we plan to end the Service entirely we will give reasonable notice through the Service or our community channels, and where the law requires it we will refund unused $RumBux you had purchased (for packs bought through Discord's store, in line with Discord's terms).

15Intellectual property

hRumble, the “hRumble” and “Rumbux Labs” names, the game, its artwork, mini-games and content are owned or controlled by us and protected by intellectual-property law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use hRumble for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or create derivative works from the Service except as the law allows. Names, game titles and messages you enter into the game remain yours; you allow us to display and store them to run the Service.

16Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow it — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of $RumBux or in-game items (which have no monetary value), for indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for anything caused by Discord or another third party. Our total liability to you for anything arising from these Terms is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid for hRumble purchases (directly or through Discord's store) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

17Discord and third parties

hRumble runs on Discord and uses third-party services (payment providers, hosting, and automated tools for some features) to operate. hRumble is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Discord or by any payment provider. Those third parties have their own terms that apply to your use of their services.

18Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we change the version number and effective date at the top of this page and summarise what changed, so please check back from time to time. Minor changes, such as clearer wording or corrections, take effect when they are published here. For significant changes, such as a new rule or a change to how purchases or refunds work, we will also tell you through the Service or our community channels. Continuing to use hRumble after a change means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Service.

19Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your home nation, and if you are a consumer living outside the UK you keep the mandatory legal protections of the country you live in.

21Contact, reports and complaints

Questions, refund requests and complaints: team@rumbuxlabs.com, or a support ticket on the hRumble community server. For a pack bought through Discord's store, please include the payment details Discord shows under User Settings → Billing (for a purchase made in Discord's phone app, your Apple or Google purchase history), so we can find it quickly. To report cheating, real-money trading, or a game offering a real-world prize, use the same routes — reports are reviewed by a person and acted on. We aim to respond within a reasonable time. If you are unhappy with our response you can raise it with your local consumer advice service.

Community moderators. Volunteer moderators help keep the hRumble community server friendly. They are not employees or agents of Rumbux Labs and cannot speak for us: they cannot make, change or promise decisions about accounts, purchases, refunds, freezes or $RumBux. Those decisions are made by us and confirmed to you in a support ticket or by email from team@rumbuxlabs.com. The current moderators are listed in the community server, and no one from hRumble will ever ask you for payment or account details by direct message.
