Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 (interim) · Effective 9 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data hRumble collects when you play, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. hRumble is operated by Rumbux Labs, which is the “data controller” for this data. We handle personal data in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

This is our current interim policy. A lawyer-reviewed version will replace it as the project matures. The latest version always lives on this page, with the version and date shown above.

01Who we are

hRumble is operated by Rumbux Labs, which is the controller of your personal data. For any privacy question or request, contact us at team@rumbuxlabs.com. Our postal address for service and full business details are set out in section 12, and in the Business Information section of our Terms of Service.

02What we collect

Because hRumble runs inside Discord, most of what we hold comes from Discord and from your gameplay. We collect:

CategoryExamples
Discord identifiersYour Discord user ID, username, and the server (guild) IDs where you play hRumble.
Gameplay dataGames played, XP, rank, $RumBux balance, in-game transactions and transfers, and related activity needed to run the game.
Purchase recordsRecords of purchases you make — such as an order reference, amount, date, and the Discord account the purchase was credited to. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card details.
Anti-fraud & enforcement dataLogs of transfers and related signals used to detect real-money trading, collusion, and abuse.
Support communicationsMessages you send us by email or through our support/report routes, and our replies.

We do not deliberately collect special-category (sensitive) personal data through hRumble.

03Why we use it, and our lawful bases

Under the UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your data. Ours are:

04Who we share it with

We share personal data only with providers and parties that help us run hRumble, and only as needed:

05What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party monetisation services, and we do not use data obtained through Discord's API for anything other than running hRumble. We do not contact you off-platform using data gathered by the bot.

06International transfers

Some of our providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law — such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.

07How long we keep it

We keep gameplay and account data for as long as your account is active in hRumble, and then delete or anonymise player data that is no longer needed after a reasonable period of inactivity. We keep purchase and accounting records for as long as the law requires — for UK tax purposes this is generally around six years. Enforcement logs are kept only as long as needed to detect and act on abuse.

08Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access a copy of your data; ask us to correct or delete it; restrict or object to certain processing; ask us to port it where applicable; and withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, email team@rumbuxlabs.com. We'll respond within the time the law allows (usually one month).

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

09Children

hRumble is an 18+ service and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from under-18s. If we become aware that someone under 18 has used the Service, we will restrict the account and delete their personal data where appropriate. If you believe a minor has used hRumble, please contact us using the details in section 12.

10Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encryption of data at rest. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond appropriately if something goes wrong.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as hRumble develops. When we do, we'll change the version number and effective date at the top of this page, and flag significant changes through the Service or our community channels where reasonable.
